Freemasons Come Together for a Night of Fundraising

Kelso & Tweed Brethren, accompanied by their partners, gathered in large numbers to support this much-anticipated event.

Pictured above is the Provincial Grand Master Bro. Drew Forsyth along with the Master and Brethren of Kelso & Tweed.

The Province hosted a sold-out charity dinner dance at Kelso Rugby Club on Friday, November 13, 2024, raising over £1,000 for two deserving local charities. The evening was a resounding success, with attendees from across the Scottish Borders and beyond enjoying a fantastic night. Special thanks go to Kelso Rugby Club, Western Rhythm, and Pat Hirst and her team.

This year’s fundraising efforts benefited two local Borders charities, each receiving a £500 donation—“Survivors Unite,” which provides support for victims of child sexual abuse, and “Clip & Toe,” a newly established organisation seeking funding for essential podiatry equipment.

To close the evening, Provincial Grand Master Bro. Andrew E. Forsyth expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all brethren, wives, partners, and friends for their generosity. He also shared his anticipation for their continued support at next year’s event.
