Kelso & Tweed take a Deputation to Hawick 111

Tonight a deputation from Lodge Kelso & Tweed 58, headed by the Master Bro. Tim Slater PM, attended the Hawick Lodge 111 on the occasion of their visit from PGL. We were privileged to see our own Bro Drew Forsyth receive Honorary Membership from the Master, Bro, Ian Stewart PM . Also humbled to receive a generous donation from Hawick 111 to support the Kelso teenager in need of our assistance as well as some personal donations. The running total standing at £1760.00
 
At the same meeting Bro. Jake Hume was passed to the Fellow Craft Degree and was congratulated by the RWPGM on the way he conducted himself through the ceremony.

Michael Laidlaw, Past Master of the Hawick Lodge No. 111 and also the Provincial Senior Chaplain, who kindly stood in for the photo as Master, Bro. Ian Stewart PM, had to nip away and Bro. Jake Hume, who becomes a Fellow of Craft and also an active member of the Borders Quarrymen.

The Travelling Trowel is now with Kelso & Tweed having captured it at the second attempt. The running total in the box is £48 including £13 contributed from the Kelso & Tweed deputation.
